We are unique in having a larger than average youth population, and a larger than average senior adult population. We have many who are spiritually committed, but not fully engaged in the church because they view their vocation (employed at a Christian university) as their ministry and place of engagement.

What are this congregation’s/parish’s greatest strengths?

The church has wonderful age diversity and ideological diversity, maintaining differences with few conflicts. We have a wonderful history (over 100 years) and a desire to make a positive impact on the community. In addition, we have one of the best children and youth programs in the city.

What are its most significant weaknesses?

Many people don’t know how to put their gifts into practice. We could do a much better job of creating a strong volunteer force to fulfill our mission.
